Mie is a personal cycle tracking app built with a privacy-first approach. Your health data belongs to you. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than making the app work for you.
All cycle data you log — period dates, symptoms, flow, and intimate activity — is stored locally on your device. This data is never sent to our servers in a readable form.
If you use the Partner Sync feature, the data you choose to share is end-to-end encrypted on your device before transmission. Only your paired partner can decrypt it. We relay the encrypted data between devices but cannot read its contents.
When you use the AI Coach, your messages and a brief summary of your cycle phase are sent to our backend to generate a response. We do not store your conversations on our servers. Your chat history is saved only on your device.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage events — such as whether onboarding was completed or a feature was used — to understand how the app is performing. These events contain no health data and no information that can identify you personally.
We collect automated crash reports to fix bugs. These reports contain technical information about the error (device type, OS version) but no health data or personal information.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Subscription status is verified through Apple's systems.
You can permanently delete all your data at any time from the Vault screen → "Wipe All Data." Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
Mie is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
